Overcoming A Wounded Heart Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry whose purpose and calling is to reach those who feel alone and without hope due to the unfortunate circumstances of their past.  Through the in-depth Biblical studies published by this ministry, wounded hearts can learn how to forgive and be set free from the condemnation of their past.  Overcoming A Wounded Heart Ministries is also passionate about reaching those who struggle with addictions and equipping them with the knowledge of who they are in Christ to help them face and overcome their addiction, whatever it may be.

Through the workshops and weekend retreats of Overcoming A Wounded Heart Ministries, wounded hearts can begin their journey of healing and overcome such obstacles as low self-esteem, feelings of inadequacy, guilt, unforgiveness, condemnation and shame.  Guilt-ridden hearts can come to accept that they are forgiven and fully embrace the abundant life Christ gave them through the cross.  Those who have suffered from abuse (mental, physical and sexual) can come to understand that they are unconditionally loved and accepted and no longer have to live in shame or their self-imposed prisons of guilt.  For many wounded hearts, the dirt that has for years defined their lives, can be washed away and replaced by the knowledge of who they are in Christ.  This knowledge sets them free to live in the joy of their salvation and releases them from the condemnation of their past.
